Text and choices that tidy, limit and adapt themselves
One form shows what text and choice fields can do in FasterOS: text cleaned up as people type, choices with limits and room for new options, fields that appear only when they apply, and switches that say what you want them to. All without code.

Text that tidies itself
Text functions run whenever the text they use changes. Type a name in lower case and it appears in proper case; the company name becomes upper case; notes are counted; and a greeting is put together from the name.
- proper, upper, lower and trim tidy what people type.
- length counts characters; left, right and mid take part of a text.
- concat joins pieces together, replace swaps words, contains checks for a word.
- A field can be required: its label shows an asterisk.
- Long text takes the width you set, and never runs off a phone screen.
Show a field only when it applies
Give a field a Show only if rule and it appears only when another field has a given value. Contact method starts on Email, its default; choose Phone and Phone number appears, and it hides again for Email.
Pick several, within a limit
A multi-select takes several picks. Max Selections sets how many, and Allow Adds lets people add an option that isn’t listed. Here a visitor adds Events and picks Sales; Support and Billing are refused.
Limits and new options, in the settings
Both are settings on the field, alongside Auto Open, Show only if, and where the options come from: a list you type, or your team’s data such as staff, products or forms.
Switches that say what you mean
A switch can read Subscribed and Not subscribed instead of Yes and No. Turn the newsletter on and How often appears; a checkbox records agreement to terms.
Hide fields while a switch is off
When False hide lists the fields to hide while the switch is off. No logic is needed.
