Feature tours · Object arrays
One group of fields, as many times as you need
One form shows how object arrays work in FasterOS: a fieldArray field makes the object, other fields join it, and people add entries, copy them and remove them, up to a limit if you set one. A form can have as many as it needs. All without code.

One field makes the object
An object array starts with a field of the type fieldArray. Its settings decide how entries look and how many there can be:
- Header Fields: the fields that title each entry, here the attendee’s name.
- Max Items: the most entries allowed, here three. Leave it empty for no limit.
- Focus Mode and Auto Open: how entries open and close.
Any field can join it
A field becomes part of the object when its Array setting names it. Name, email and meal all belong to attendees, so every attendee has all three. Any field type can join, and each entry keeps its own values.
Entries titled by their own data
Fill in the first attendee and the entry takes its title from the name, Ada Lovelace, so the list reads like the data. An entry with no name yet is called Attendee 2, Attendee 3 and so on.
Add, copy and remove, up to the limit
Each entry can be copied, with its values, or removed. Add Another adds a fresh entry until Max Items is reached, then goes away.
As many arrays as you need
A form can have any number of object arrays, each with its own fields and settings. Sessions sits alongside attendees, titled by session name, with no limit.

This is the tour's form, live. Add attendees with a name and meal, copy one, and add sessions. Attendees stop at three. Nothing you enter is saved.
