Dates that check themselves and do the math
One form shows what dates can do in FasterOS: calendars that offer only the days that make sense, one date or several in a field, and date math worked out the moment a date changes: nights, business days, weekdays, reminders and ages. All without code.

Only the days that make sense
Each date field sets which days can be picked: from the past, from the future, and today. Days that can’t be picked are greyed out, so a check-in can’t be in the past and a date of birth can’t be in the future.
- Select from Past, Select from Future and Select Today, each Yes or No.
- Days of the week that are open, and dates that are closed.
- A year range, and whether today and the picked dates are highlighted.
One date or several
How many Dates sets how many a field takes. Check-in and check-out take one each, and picking again changes it; meeting days takes up to three.
Date math, done for you
Date functions work on any date field and update the moment a date changes. From a check-in of Friday, November 20 and a check-out of Tuesday, November 24:
- 4 nights (datediff) and 2 business days (businessdaysbetween).
- Check-out on a Tuesday (weekday), a reminder on November 13 (dateadd, a week before).
- The end of the month (endofmonth), the check-in written out (formatdate), and an age from a date of birth (age).
Picked from a list
Each date field has a change rule with date functions picked from a list. Nothing is typed as code.
Today and now, formatted
Form logic runs as the form opens and fills in today’s date and the time now. A Result field shows a date as a Short date, a Long date or a Time, in each visitor’s own format.
