Tell your team in chat when a lead comes in

A team chat message for every new order or lead, the moment it’s submitted.

1. Pick who hears

   Open your team and choose Team Chat, then Create Team Chat. Pick the people who should hear about new orders or leads.

2. Name the chat

   Choose Create Team Chat, open the new chat, choose Settings, and name it, here Orders. The form posts to it by that name.

3. Write the logic

   Open the form (here Cupcake Order, from Calculate a total), choose Form Logic, then Write as text. Under on create, which runs when someone submits, format the total with currency, put the message together with concat, and call notifyinapp("Orders", result).

4. An order comes in

   Choose Check, then Apply. Then open the form from Sharing, Open Link, fill it in, and choose Submit.

5. Your team hears

   In Team Chat, the message is in Orders: “Cupcake Order: New order: 12 cupcakes, $42.00”. Everyone in the chat is told, and can get an email about it too.
