Number fields that calculate, format and check themselves
One form shows every number option in FasterOS: number, currency and percent fields sized to what they hold, equations that update the moment an input changes, results formatted as currency, numbers, percents or dates, and limits that keep values in range. All without code.

Number, currency and percent
Three field types hold numbers. Each takes the same settings, and each input is only as wide as the values it holds, so a form reads cleanly.
- Decimals: how many digits a value keeps and shows.
- Min value and Max value: a value outside the range is pulled back to it, whether someone types it or a calculation writes it. A minimum of 0 keeps prices and counts from going negative.
- Width: from 4em for a two-digit quantity to 12em for large amounts. New fields get a width that fits their type.
Equations that update as you type
Calculations are equations on the fields themselves. Subtotal is {quantity} × {unitPrice}, the discount comes off, and so on. Each input runs them whenever it changes, so there’s no Calculate button to press.
- Write equations with +, −, ×, ÷ and any field in {braces}.
- Chain results: one equation can use another’s result.
- Add a change rule to each input, and every result follows any edit.
Results, formatted
A Result field shows a calculated value the way it should read. Choose a Format and Decimals in its settings.
- Currency: $539.89. Number: 599,880. Percentage: 10%.
- Short date, Long date and Time, in each visitor’s own format.
- Decimals rounds: 539.89 with 0 decimals shows 540.
Change one value, everything follows
Change Quantity from 12 to 2 and every result recalculates: subtotal $99.98, total $89.98, and shipping is no longer free.
Values stay in range
Type 500 into Quantity and it becomes 100, its maximum, the moment you leave the field. Everything calculated from it updates too.

Text and choice fields
Text that tidies itself, choices with limits, fields that appear only when they apply, and switches.
Take the tour →Dates and time
Date fields that offer only the right days, several dates in one field, and date math done for you.
Take the tour →Field logic and events
Logic that runs on Enter, change or click, If blocks that decide, and form logic as the form opens.
Take the tour →AI-powered interfaces
Fields that write their own text, answers from your own data, images described and text read aloud.
Take the tour →Object arrays
Group fields into an object and repeat it: attendees, sessions, line items, each titled by name.
