The core entities (Product, Asset, Location, Supplier, Movement) are standalone, forming the primary records. The Maintenance Log and Media entities are children, providing detailed context for their respective parents.
- Maintenance Log belongs to Asset — records specific service history for an asset.
- Media belongs to Asset (main parent), and also attaches to Product, Location, Supplier, and Movement — for storing relevant files and images across various record types.
- Product — no parent; a standalone list of inventory items.
- Asset — no parent; a standalone list of high-value, trackable assets.
- Location — no parent; a standalone list of physical storage or deployment locations.
- Supplier — no parent; a standalone list of vendors.
- Movement — no parent; a standalone log of all inventory and asset transactions.
