More than a website builder
WordPress, Wix and Squarespace build pages. FasterOS builds the pages and the business behind them: forms that price as people type, records and reports, bookings, a store, live chat, a support desk and AI agents. No plugins, no code, nothing to patch.
- Easier One place for the site and the work behind it. Nothing to install or keep updated.
- Faster A bakery’s order form, report and team, each shown start to finish in under two minutes.
- Cheaper Pay for the people who build and use it; visitors are free. Compare your own numbers.
- More powerful Logic, data and AI agents that website builders leave to plugins, code or other services.
What's different underneath
Security by design
Website buildersA WordPress site runs third-party plugin and theme code, and keeping it patched is your job: Patchstack counted 11,334 new WordPress vulnerabilities in 2025, 91% of them in plugins, and 46% weren’t fixed by the time they were made public. Hosted builders patch their own platforms well, but the custom code, embeds and third-party apps you add run with your site’s trust, and form entries often land in an inbox anyone with access can read.
FasterOSNo third-party code runs on your site. Pages are built from structured content, and any HTML you add is cleaned of scripts before anyone sees it. Every form’s data has its own access rules (your team, each person’s own records only, or the public), people have roles, what visitors type is screened, everything is backed up to three copies, and every custom domain gets its own https certificate automatically. There’s nothing for you to patch.
Programmer-level control, without code
Website buildersPast the templates, website builders hand you code: PHP and plugins on WordPress, Velo JavaScript on Wix, code injection on Squarespace, or an outside automation service stitched in.
FasterOSJade, the FasterOS logic language, gives you what a programmer has (calculations, decisions, loops, records, messages, AI) by clicking: every function is picked from a list and explained, and the same logic reads as text if you prefer. Multi-step agents run whole processes and wait for people. API keys open your data to other systems when you want them to.
Your data, working for you
Website buildersA builder’s form sends an email or adds a row to a list. Reporting on it, editing it, connecting it to other records or acting on it means exporting it to another tool.
FasterOSEvery submission is a record in your team’s database: report on it, filter and total it, edit it, connect it to other records, let customers see their own, and have agents act on it. Reports stay fast at hundreds of thousands of records.
One place, one bill
Website buildersA site plus a forms plugin, a booking tool, a store extension, a chat service, a help desk, an automation service and the team’s own chat and documents: separate logins, separate bills, and data in each.
FasterOSThe site, its forms and data, bookings, store, live chat, support desk, AI agents, and the team’s chat, docs, sheets and presentations, in one place, on one bill.

Build the same bakery site
A bakery wants an order form that prices a custom cake, a report of its orders, bookings for tastings, a small store and live chat. Here’s what each takes.
FasterOS: 7 steps, nothing to install
- Create your team and invite the staff1:34 how-to
- Build the cake order form1:56 how-to
- Make it price the cake as people choose1:45 how-to
- Turn its orders into a report1:49 how-to
- Add tasting bookings: set your hours once
- Say what you sell; Store Starter builds the store
- Switch on live chat (ChatNow) and copy its link to your site
The first four are shown start to finish in narrated how-tos: about 7 minutes of video in all.
WordPress: 9 steps, and the upkeep never ends
- Buy hosting and a domain, install WordPress
- Choose and install a theme (premium themes are paid)
- Install a forms plugin; set up its calculations
- Install WooCommerce, a payment gateway and shipping
- Install a bookings extension
- Install a live-chat plugin or sign up for a chat service
- Find a way to report on orders (export, or another plugin)
- Install security, backup and caching plugins
- Keep WordPress, the theme and every plugin updated, for as long as the site runs
On Wix or Squarespace there’s less to install, but pricing that calculates as people choose needs code or an outside form service, bookings on Squarespace are a separate subscription, and reports on your own orders aren’t available.

A website builder
- Set up hosting, a theme and the plugins or apps the site needs
- Apply core, theme and plugin updates, and test the site after each (WordPress)
- Sort out plugin or app conflicts when an update breaks something
- Set up and check backups, security scanning and caching (WordPress)
- Pay renewals for each plugin, app and outside service separately
- Export form entries to another tool to report on or act on them
FasterOS
- Build the site and the work behind it in one place
- New features arrive for everyone; nothing to update or test
- Backups to three copies and https certificates, handled
- One monthly bill: the people who build and use it, and hosting by use
- Report on and act on everything people send, where it already is
When a website builder is the better fit
- A blog or content site that needs a particular WordPress plugin or theme, with someone already maintaining it.
- A portfolio whose whole job is a designer template, with no forms, data or processes behind it.
- A site you need to host on your own servers, with full access to the code.
Questions
Can I keep my own domain?
Yes. Add it under Account, Custom domains, point an A record at the address it shows, and your domain gets its own https certificate automatically. Your domain can stay in the address bar, or send visitors on to your FasterOS pages.
Do I pay for visitors?
No. You pay for the people who build ($5 a month each) and the team members who use it ($1 a month each), and hosting by use: storage, data transfer and activity. Visitors are free.
Can I add my own code?
You won’t need to: Jade gives you calculations, decisions, loops, records, messages and AI by clicking. For other systems, API keys give them access to your data.
Is my data mine?
Yes. Every form’s records are yours to report on and export, and you decide who can see each form’s data.
